How it works

From first request to verified credential

  1. 01

    Choose a path

Each certification is three courses. Start with the fundamentals, or go straight to the specialty that matches your work.

  2. 02

    Learn by running it

Every lesson puts a real request in front of you. Signed in, it runs on your own key, with practice questions after each section.

  3. 03

    Take the exam

30 questions in 45 minutes, some hands-on: run the call, answer from the response. 700 out of 1000 passes.

  4. 04

    Share the credential

A certificate with a credential ID, a public verification page, one-click LinkedIn and a shareable transcript.

Is the Academy free?
Yes. Every course, practice question, exam and certificate is free. The live calls in the lessons run on your own APIVerve key, and the free plan's monthly credits cover a full certification path.
Which certification should I start with?
APV-100, the API Developer Fundamentals certification, if you're new to APIs. If you already call APIs from code, go straight to the Associate certification that matches your work: verification, web data, AI agents or documents.
What does a certification prove?
That you can do the work, not just describe it. Every exam includes hands-on questions: you run real requests with your own key and answer from the responses, and those answers only count if your key actually made the call.
How do employers check a certificate?
Every certificate has a credential ID. Enter it in the box at the top of this page, or open the verification link on the certificate, to see the holder, the certification and the date it was issued.
What if I don't pass?
You get a score report by course, so you know what to review. You can retake an exam 24 hours later; after two attempts in a row, the next opens after 7 days.
Can I use the Academy in a class?
Yes. Lessons are free to assign, every exercise runs on each student's own free key, and the certifications give students something verifiable to put on a résumé. Get in touch if you'd like to use it with a course.

Your first call takes a minute. Create a free key and every lesson runs live.
