How many phrases does the Free plan cover?
The Free plan covers 100 acronym generations per month at 2 credits per call. For higher volume, the Starter plan covers up to 100,000 calls each month, which works out to about $0.30 per 1,000 phrases.
Does it ignore minor words like 'and' or 'the'?
Yes, it provides both variations. The response returns the full primary acronym using every word first, followed by alternate variations that omit common stop words such as a, the, and, or of.
Can I pass a single word to generate an abbreviation?
No, input phrases must contain at least two words. Passing a single word does not meet the minimum parameter requirements.
Does the generator return more than one acronym option?
Yes, each response includes a list of acronyms. You receive the complete acronym derived from every initial letter, alongside alternate versions that strip out common connecting words.
What kind of phrases can I submit?
You can submit any text string with two or more words, including technical terminology, project titles, organizational names, or documentation headings.
