Questions.

Common questions about the JSON to CSV Converter API.

Read the docs →
Is it cheap enough to convert data for every user export request?
Yes. At 2 credits per call, the Free plan includes 100 conversions each month. On the Starter plan, 100,000 conversions work out to about $0.0003 per call, or $0.30 per 1,000 conversions.
What happens if objects in the JSON array have different keys?
The converter extracts every unique key across all objects to create the full list of CSV columns. Any object that does not contain a particular key will have an empty value for that cell.
Is there a limit on how large my JSON payload can be?
Yes, the maximum supported payload size is 500KB. Requests larger than 500KB are not processed, so large datasets should be chunked into smaller batches before sending.
Can I use custom delimiters like tabs or semicolons?
Yes. You can pass any custom delimiter character, such as a tab, semicolon, or pipe, in the request. The converter also automatically handles quoted values and escapes special characters.
Can I omit the header row from the generated CSV?
Yes. Setting the header parameter to false removes the top row of column names, leaving only the converted data rows. By default, headers are extracted and included.
